Yuriko Zhang, (she/her/她)

Yuriko Zhang is an Anthropology major with a minor in Asian American Studies. Her experiences growing up in the beautiful Flushing (Chinatown) of Queens, NYC shape her deep passion for AAPI community advocacy and social justice. Through being Co-Head of the Pan Asian Resource Center, a Writing Center peer tutor, a representative of Student Council, and Co-Head of the New Student Orientation Program, she is dedicated to creating change and fostering inclusivity at Haverford College. As a current Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, after graduation she hopes to pursue a PhD in Anthropology and produce (auto)ethnographies of Asian American communities, resistance, and joy. In her free time, she enjoys working out, journaling, cooking, drawing, and spending time with her four cats.
